SWOS AND STUDENT WORKSHOP OF THE OCULAR SURFACE
The Student Workshop of the Ocular Surface Symposium, also known as SWOS, is a 3-hour workshop designated to supplement the educational process already in place within academic institutions. Through a 45-minute didactic program and a 2-hour hands on workshop, attendees will experience the latest in dry eye diagnostics and treatments.
Dry Eye Education is fast moving. More companies have brought their dry eye diagnostic and treatment options to the North American marketplace in the last 5 years than in the last 15 years combined. Science is constantly advancing and bringing about new thought patterns into disease etiology, diagnosis and treatments. SWOS works to bring clarity and a real-world, hands on approach to looking at the disease of dry eyes in an effort to better patient outcomes.
