Brujic and Kading suggest performing eyelash rotation to determine if there is an overpopulation of Demodex. Regularly applying tea tree oil to the eyelid margin will reduce the Demodex and patients’ symptoms. Drs. Kading and Brujic stress the importance of following up with patients to make sure Demodex stays controlled.
