Ages for Contact Lens Wear

 

Many practitioners avoid fitting contact lenses in pediatric patients, when in fact, studies show that there is little difference between children and teenagers with regard to complications. This video provides insight into why ODs should consider fitting younger patients and how to explain to another often-neglected age group—patients 60 years and older—that contact lens use improves their quality of life.
